EL ARISH: At least three persons were killed and 17 others wounded after suspected militants fired rocket-propelled grenades into a bus carrying workers from a cement factory in Egypt’s North Sinai province, authorities said.
The attack happened in the city of El Arish, located in a region bordering Israel and the Gaza Strip. The volatile area has been increasingly marred by Islamist violence since Mohamed Morsi’s overthrow by the military on July 3.
