LAHORE: The United Kingdom has assured to continue its cooperation for the development of social sector in Pakistan.
The assurance was given by the British High Commissioner to Pakistan Philip Barton who called on the Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif in Lahore on Monday.
During the meeting, the two sides discussed bilateral relations.
The chief minister said that the two countries enjoy deep friendly relations and the UK is extending cooperation in various sectors including education, health and social sectors in Pakistan.
