KARACHI, Pakistan: The United States has extended the deepest condolences to the Pakistani armed forces and the people of Pakistan on the tragic loss of military officials in a helicopter crash in Balochistan.
“The US Consulate General Karachi offers our sincere thoughts and prayers to the families and loved ones of these men and to the entire Pakistani nation,” said a statement issued on Tuesday by the Consulate General on behalf of the United States of America.
Separately, the US Ambassador to Pakistan Donald Blome also offered deepest condolences to the families and colleagues of the six Pakistan Army officers including Lt General Sarfraz Ali, who tragically lost their lives while supporting flood relief operations.

Six Pakistan Army Officials including the Commander XII Corps Lieutenant General Sarfraz Ali embraced martyrdom when an army aviation helicopter carrying them crashed in Lasbela district of Balochistan on Monday due to bad weather.
The helicopter was on flood relief operations in Balochistan.
