WASHINGTON: The United States has said that it is suspending a large part of its military and other cash aid to Egypt.
In a statement, US State Department spokeswoman Jen Psaki said that the delivery of certain large scale military systems and cash assistance to the Egyptian government will be withheld unless credible progress is made toward democratically elected civilian government through free and fair elections.
