WASHINGTON, United States: The United States has reaffirmed its confidence in safety of nuclear assets of Pakistan.
The US State Department spokesperson Jen Psaki said to reporters at the daily press briefing in Washington that the US has no concerns over the security of Pakistan’s nuke assets.
Psaki said that the United States is working closely with Pakistan on counter-terrorism and other issues.
“We have a range of dialogues with Pakistan. We work closely with them on counterterrorism issues and a range of issues. I’m not aware of any new concern in this case,” Psaki said in reply to a question about the security of Pakistan’s nuclear weapons.
