RAWALPINDI/ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The Punjab Minister for Health Dr Yasmin Rashid on Tuesday paid a surprise visit to Rawalpindi Hospitals, and expressed anger at inadequate facilities there.
Yasmin Rashid said that the weather is getting cold so I have directed to upgrade children department especially.
125 nurses being inducted in Rawalpindi Hospitals
The health minister said that 125 nurses are being inducted in Holy Family and District Headquarters (DHQ) Hospital. She also said that efforts are being made to resolve the complaints regarding the young doctors.
Meanwhile, the Minister for National Health Services Aamer Mehmood Kiani also visited a rural Health Centre in Islamabad today, and reviewed the ongoing anti-measles drive.
In his remarks, the minister said that the federal government is poised to build new hospitals in the Country.
Aamer Mehmood Kiani said that it is for the first time that over three million children are being administered with anti-measles vaccination. He regretted that about 130 deaths occurred due to measles last year.

The national campaign to administer supplementary immunization to children against measles started on October 15 and it will continue till October 27.
