ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The National Command & Operation Centre (NCOC) has approved a 25% crowd attendance for the upcoming ODI and T20I Series between Pakistan and New Zealand, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) announced on Monday.
The three-match ODI series between Pakistan and New Zealand will be held at Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium from September 17 to 21, 2021 followed by five T20 Internationals at Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore.
The five T20Is will take place on September 25, September 26, September 29, October 1, and October 3 respectively in Lahore.
The decision by the NCOC means around 4,500 spectators will be able to attend the ODIs at Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium while approximately 5,500 spectators will be able to watch the T20Is at Lahore’s Gaddafi Stadium.
It was decided that only spectators who are fully vaccinated and have an Immunisation Certificate for COVID-19 will be allowed entry inside the stadiums to watch the Pakistan-New Zealand Series.
The PCB will shortly announce ticket prices and other details for New Zealand’s first tour to Pakistan in 18 years.
