KARACHI, Pakistan: The Sindh Rangers have launched a special software system to ensure security of educational institutions including schools and colleges in the Provincial Capital.

In a press conference along with the Adviser to the Sindh Chief Minister on Information Maula Bux Chandio in Karachi on Saturday, the Rangers Spokesperson Colonel Qaiser said that the process of registration of educational institutions under this system is underway in Karachi, adding that more than 3,000 schools have so far been registered.

The Rangers spokesman said that under the system, a software has been developed. In case of any emergency or threat, the head of educational institution will send an Short Message Service (SMS) to the Rangers.

Colonel Qaiser said that the domain of this system will be broadened with the passage of time.

Maula Bux Chandio while hailing the performance of paramilitary troops said that Rangers is a national institution and the Sindh government is proud of the work done by them for protection of schools and colleges.

The advisor said that the provincial government is not separated from Rangers. He said that the entire city will come under the newly-launched software system for the security of educational institutions.
