The Host Australia is already leading the five-match series 2-1 and now its premier bowler Mitchell Starc will also be back for Sydney ODI. Starc didn’t play the third ODI in Perth.
On the other hand, Azhar Ali will again lead Pakistan after recovering from hamstring injury. In his absence, Muhammad Hafeez led the Side in previous two ODIs, in one of which Pakistan ended its losing streak on Australian Soil after 12 years.
Even in third ODI in Perth, Pakistan had the opportunity to win but first its batsmen failed to accelerate the run rate in the end despite having setting an excellent platform till 40th-over, and then dropped Catches and a Crucial no ball helped Australia to lead the series.
It’s most likely that Azhar Ali will replace Asad Shafiq whose score have only been 5 and 13 in the series.
