Asian Hockey Champions Trophy 2018 to be held in Muscat from October 18-28

ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: Pakistan Hockey Federation (PHF) on Monday named 31 probables for the Training Camp in preparation for the upcoming Asian Hockey Champions Trophy.

The fifth edition of the Asian Hockey Champions Trophy will be held at the Sultan Qaboos Sports Complex in Muscat from October 18 to 28, 2018.

Besides Pakistan, India, Malaysia, Omen, Japan and South Korea will participate in the event.

The Pakistani hockey players have been asked to report in the Training Camp for Asian Hockey Champions Trophy 2018 at the National Hockey Stadium in Lahore on September 25.

The probables include:

Pakistan has won Asian Hockey Champions Trophy twice in 2012 and 2013

Pakistan and India have won the Asian Hockey Champions Trophy twice. Pakistan won in 2012 and 2013 whereas India clinched the title in 2011 and 2016.

In the event, Pakistan will play its first match against South Korea on October 19, second match against India on October 20, third match against Oman on October 22, fourth match against Japan on October 24, and fifth match against Malaysia on October 25.
