The Defending Champions Islamabad United would love to remain unbeaten against Multan Sultans as they are going to wrestle again at Dubai on Saturday afternoon.
Islamabad United won both the previous T20s against Multan Sultans in HBL PSL 2018 Edition. Therefore, Multan Sultans would be feeling the heat as, in addition, it had also already lost its opening match in PSL 2019 against Karachi Kings.

But in vice versa, Islamabad United kicked off its HBL PSL 2019 journey with a triumph over Lahore Qalandars. Under a new Captain Mohammad Sami, Islamabad United thrashed Lahore Qalandars by five wickets.
Islamabad United at one stage seemed to have lost the plot against Qalandars when its five batsmen fell for 118 in the quest of 178 runs. But then Asif Ali and Faheem Ashraf with quick-fire 36 and 23 runs respectively turned the tide in United’s favour, steered it to register its first victory in Pakistan Super League’s Fourth Edition.
Even Multan Sultans did well against Karachi Kings but eventually the latter sealed a seven runs victory in a nail biting finish.
While batting first, Karachi Kings put 183 runs for six on the board with both the openers Liam Livingstone and Babar Azam scoring 82 and 77 runs respectively.
In reply, Laurie Evans’ 49 and Shoaib Malik’s 52 runs innings brought Multan Sultans closer to the target. But Mohammad Amir deprived the opposition of celebrating a victory. Mohammad Amir took four wickets for 25 runs.
