Monitoring Desk: The President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has reiterated that Armenia-Azerbaijan Nagorno-Karabakh conflict must be resolved in accordance with resolutions of the UN Security Council.
According to state run news agency AZERTAC, the President added that there is (was) no change in position on the settlement of the Armenia-Azerbaijan Nagorno-Karabakh conflict and principled position is (was) that this issue must be resolved within the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan, on the basis of decisions and resolutions adopted by international organizations, in accordance with the Helsinki Final Act, resolutions of the UN Security Council.
There is no other approach,” said President Ilham Aliyev at a Cabinet meeting dedicated to the results of socioeconomic development of the first quarter of 2019 and future tasks.
Meanwhile, while commenting upon exceptional economic growth which Azerbaijan managed in past, President said that the social and economic results achieved in the first quarter of 2019 showed that country is on the right path and there is no alternative to reforms.
He maintained that there had been no other country in the world that would develop like Azerbaijan in economic terms as large infrastructure projects had been implemented and would provide solid foundation further development of the Republic.
