LAHORE: Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has announced cash awards for the national men’s and women’s cricket teams on their recent performances.
According to a PCB spokesman in Lahore on Wednesday‚ Captain Misbah ul Haq‚ Shahid Afridi‚ Umar Akmal and Zulfiqar Babar will be given cash prizes of four hundred thousand rupees each for their outstanding performances in winning the One Day and T-20 series against West Indies.
All remaining players of the squad will get one hundred thousand rupees each.
For their successful tour to England and Ireland‚ the national women’s team members will get one hundred thousand rupees each‚ while the team management will receive fifty thousand rupees each.
