SOCHI: The US Snowboarder Sage Kotsenburg clinched the first gold medal of the Sochi Winter Olympics on Saturday when he won the men’s snowboard slopestyle event at the Rosa Khutor Extreme Park.
Kotsenburg scored 93.50 points, Staale Sandbech from Norway received 91.75 points and claimed silver, whereas Canada’s Mark McMorris took bronze with 88.75 points.
