PARIS: A passenger train derailed in the southern French Alps on Saturday, killing at least two persons and injuring seven others.
The incident occurred when the train, which was travelling from the coastal city of Nice to the town of Digne-les-Bains, came off the tracks after hitting a rock on the rails.
