MOSCOW: A helicopter with 17 people on board including 13 passengers and four crew members crashed in Russia’s far eastern Khabarovsk region on Monday, media reports said.
According to the preliminary information, the Mi-8 helicopter crashed 50 kilometers from the village of Chekunda in the Khabarovsk region.
A spokeswoman for regional prosecutors Oxana Polshanova said that the fate of the passengers remained unknown.
