HANOI: A military helicopter carrying 21 people on board crashed near the Vietnamese capital Hanoi on early Monday that left at least 16 people dead and five others injured.
An army deputy commander Lieutenant General Vo Van Tuan said that the Russian-made Mi-171 chopper crashed during a parachute training exercise near Hanoi due to technical problems.
