LAGOS: At least 20 women have been abducted by the Nigerian Islamist rebel group Boko Haram in northern part of the country, foreign media citing eyewitnesses reported on Tuesday.
The incident occurred at the same place where more than 200 girls were kidnapped from their school by the same group on April 14.
The eyewitnesses said that the women were loaded onto vans at gunpoint and driven away to an unknown location in the country’s Borno state.
