ABU DHABI: Former Chairman Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) Tauqir Sadiq has been arrested by local authorities in Abu Dhabi, the absconding accused was wanted in a massive Rs80 Billion corruption scandal, Dispatch News Desk (DND) reported on Tuesday.
Sadiq has been detained in Dubai by a special team of the CID comprises two senior police officials and one official from the National Accountability Bureau (NAB), sources said. Sadiq is expected to be deported to Pakistan tomorrow, they added.
