QUETTA, Pakistan: President Dr Arif Alvi has said that the federal government is standing by the Balochistan government to maintain peace in the province.
Talking to the Balochistan Governor Amanullah Yasinzai and the Chief Minister Jam Kamal Khan in Quetta on Tuesday wherein they reviewed important matters of the province including security situation, the president said that peace is need of the Country, and no compromise will be made on establishing it.
The president said that it is a matter of satisfaction that the sit-in staged by Hazara Community against the terrorist attack in Quetta on April 12 ended peacefully.
During talks, the three leaders reaffirmed resolve to foil all conspiracies of the anti-statement elements against progress and prosperity of the Country.
Separately, the president also met bereaved families of the martyrs of the terror attack in Quetta, and condoled with them.

In his remarks on the occasion, Dr Arif Alvi said that it’s responsibility of the State to protect citizens’ lives.
President Arif Alvi said that there is no substitute of human lives. He said that being Muslims, we must strive together to ensure protection of each other’s lives.
