Office of Vice-President of US, Policy Making Team, Foreign Affairs, First Lady Office and Media Department of Joe Biden will be led by Indian Americans.
First Lady Jill Biden has chosen the majority of her staff from the cadre of Indian American as Mala Adiga has been nominated as Policy Director to the future First Lady. Garima Verma has been nominated as the Digital Director of the Office of the First Lady and Sabrina Singh: has been chosen as Deputy Press Secretary of First Lady.
In the President team, Vinay Reddy has been nominated as Director of Speechwriting and Vedant Patel has been nominated as Assistant Press Secretary to the President.
At the South Asian Desk of the Presidential Team, Sumona Guha has been nominated as Senior Director for South Asia
Political observers believe that the Foreign Policy of President Joe Biden towards South Asia particularly towards China and Pakistan will have a far-reaching influence as both the countries are adversaries of India while the Vice-President Office and the top Presidential Team will be Indian Americans.
Indian American Kamala Devi would be sworn as the Vice President of US. She is the daughter of an Indian lady. Kamala Devi Harris was on October 20, 1964. Her mother, Shyamala Gopalan belonged to Tamil Nadu and came to the United States in 1958 as a graduate student in nutrition and endocrinology at the University of California. Gopalan received her PhD same year when Kamala Devi was born.

Neera Tanden: She has been nominated as Director of the White House Office of Management and Budget. Parents of Neera Tanden (born in 1970) migrated from India and her mother was on welfare for two years but then got a job after two years as a travel agent.
Dr Vivek Murthy: Father of Vivek belonged to Karnataka and he was a doctor by profession. Vivek is also a renewed surgeon and has been nominated as the US Surgeon General.
Vanita Gupta: She has been nominated as Associate Attorney General Department of Justice. Previously, she was the Principal Deputy Assistant Attorney General and head of the Civil Rights Division at the U.S. Department of Justice until January 20, 2017. She was appointed to lead the division and serve as the chief civil rights prosecutor for the United States by Barack Obama in October 2014
Uzra Zeya: Family of Uzra Zeya belonged to Indian Occupied Kashmir and she has been nominated as under-secretary for civilian security, Democracy, and Human Rights. The position of under-secretary of Democracy and Human Rights plays a pivotal role in reviewing Human Rights and Democracy abuses all over the world. It is understood she can oversight Human Rights abuses in Indian Occupied Kashmir as considering that Occupied Kashmir as part of India. She will have Indian American Shanthi Kalathil as Coordinator for Democracy and Human Rights.
Aisha Shah: She has been named as Partnership Manager at the White House Office of Digital Strategy.
Sameera Fazili: She would occupy the key position of Deputy Director at the US National Economic Council (NEC) in the White House. She also had a background in Indian Occupied Kashmir.
Bharat Ramamurti: He has been nominated as the Deputy Director of the White House National Economic Council.
Gautam Raghavan: He has been nominated as Deputy Director in Office of Presidential Personnel.
Vinay Reddy: He has been named as Director of Speechwriting.
Vedant Patel: He has been nominated as Assistant Press Secretary to the President.
Sonia Aggarwal: She has been named Senior Advisor for Climate Policy and Innovation in the Office of the Domestic Climate Policy at the White House.
Vidur Sharma: He has been appointed as Policy Advisor for Testing for the White House Covid-19 Response Team.

Two Indian-Americans women have been appointed to the Office of the White House Counsel — Neha Gupta as Associate Counsel and Reema Shah as Deputy Associate Counsel.
Mala Adiga: Mala was Director for Higher Education and Military Families at the Biden Foundation. During the Obama-Biden administration, Adiga served as Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for Academic Programs at the Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs. She has been appointed as Policy Director to the future First Lady Dr Jill Biden.
Garima Verma: Garima was born in India, grew up in Ohio and the Central Valley of California. She served as audience development and content strategist on the Biden-Harris campaign, the transition team said on Thursday. She has been nominated as the Digital Director of the Office of the First Lady.
Sabrina Singh: She has been named as the First Lady’s Deputy Press Secretary.
