The Indian Legendary Cricketer Kapil Dev has once again been full of praise for Pakistan’s Prime Minister Imran Khan, who was once his tough competitor in Cricket, saying that “it’s not easy to reach where he has reached”.
“Only once have I spoken to Imran Khan after he became PM. What a journey he has had! Hats off to him. It’s not easy to reach where he has reached,” Kapil Dev said while talking to the Khaleej Times.
“I hope Imran Khan can bring peace to the Country,” he said.

Talking about the upcoming encounter between two arch-rivals in Asia Cup 2018, Kapil Dev said that he would like to see a good game between India and Pakistan in Asia Cup.
Pakistan and India will face each other at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium on September 19 in the six-nation Asia Cup starting from September 15.
Kapil Dev said that the resumption of India-Pakistan Cricket depends on the Indian government’s policy, adding that “I am not the right person to comment.”
Commenting on the Indian all-rounder Hardik Pandya, Kapil Dev said that he may become even better than him.
The former Indian all-rounder said that for the current Indian team, he will just tell them to play collectively. “Maturity is very important,” he said.
Kapil Dev said that Cricket is not about leadership alone, you also need to have a team to win. He said that off course, one player can make a difference but when you start depending on one player you can’t win.
In reply to another question, Kapil Dev said that Viv Richards, Zaheer Abbas, David Gower, and Graham Gooch were among the toughest batsmen he bowled to.
