BIRMINGHAM: South Africa beat Pakistan by 67 runs in the ICC Champions Trophy Group B match at Edgbaston on Monday.
Batting first‚ South Africa scored 234 for 9 in the allotted 50 overs. Hashim Amla scored 81 while AB de Villiers scored 31 runs.
With a daunting target of 235 runs to chase, Pakistani batting once again failed to deliver and were bowled out for 167 runs to end their hopes of qualifying for the next round of the ICC Champions Trophy.
