BANGKOK: The leader of Thailand military junta General Prayuth Chan-ocha announced on Friday that an interim government would be set up in the country by September this year.
“A government will be set up by August, or at the very latest September,” Prayuth said while addressing military officials in Bangkok on Friday.
However, the military junta leader declined to give details about who would be installed to head the interim government.
Prayuth seized control of the government in Thailand in a bloodless coup on May 22, a move he described as taken to restore order and push through reforms.
