NEW DELHI: A Delhi court on Tuesday sent cricketer S Sreesanth to judicial custody till June 4 after it refused police plea for custody the tainted cricketer for two more days, India media reported.

Sreesanth, who had been arrested a couple of weeks back for his alleged role in spot-fixing in the Indian Premier League, will be lodged in Tihar jail till his bail plea which would be heard on June 4.

S Sreesanth, along with two other Rajasthan Royals team mates Ajit Chandila and Ankeet Chavan, had been arrested for their involvement in spot-fixing. Several bookies were also arrested after they had been arrested.
