IRAQ: Over 40 people have been killed and dozens of others injured in a series of bomb and gun attacks across the country.
The attacks were carried out in Baghdad‚ Kirkuk‚Tuz Khurmato‚Tarmiya cities and Diala province.
Correspondents say the conflict in Syria‚ where mostly Sunni rebels are fighting to topple President Bashar al-asad‚ is turning in part into a regional proxy war between Sunni and Shi’ite powers.
