With five wickets for 33, Mohammad Abbas has pushed Pakistan to occupy the driving seat in the second Test at Abu Dhabi on Wednesday as in reply to Pakistan’s 282 runs, Australia was restricted to 145 runs only in the first innings.

The 28-year-old Mohammad Abbas has also completed his 50 Test wickets in his 10th match for Pakistan with an average of 16.66, which is the least bowling average in Test matches during last 122 years of Cricket history.
Overall Mohammad Abbas, who is at 14 position in ICC Test Rankings for Bowlers, has taken 54 wickets in 10 Tests with one innings yet to arrive.

Earlier in the first Test at Dubai against Australia, Mohammad Abbas also picked up seven wickets.
Meanwhile, Pakistan has scored 46 runs by now in its second innings. Like the first innings, Mohammad Hafeez again lost his wicket to Mitchell Starc on six runs. Fakhar Zaman and Azhar Ali were till occupying the crease on 29 and 12 runs respectively.

Prior to that, Australia was bowled out for 145 runs, falling short of 137 runs to Pakistan’s first innings score. For Australia Aaron Finch was the highest scorer with 39 runs followed by Starc with 34.
On the other hand, besides Mohammad Abbas, Bilal Asif also took three wickets while Yasir Shah also grabbed one wicket.
It is worth noting that the first Test between Pakistan and Australia didn’t produce any result.
