Pakistan will play five One Day Internationals (ODIs) and three T20Is in New Zealand from January 6, 2018 to January 28, 2018Â during the upcoming tour.

Prior to the official commencement of bilateral series between the two Countries on January 6, Pakistan will also play a 50-over Tour Match against New Zealand XI at Saxton Oval, Nelson on January 3.
Meanwhile, a 15-member Pakistan’s ODI squad led by Sarfraz Ahmed has already been announced by Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) for the five-match ODI series against New Zealand.

Azhar Ali, Fakhar Zaman, Imamul Haq, Babar Azam, Shoaib Malik, Muhammad Hafeez, Sarfraz Ahmed (Captain & Wicketkeeper), Haris Sohail, Faheem Ashraf, Muhammad Nawaz, Muhammad Amir, Shadab Khan, Hassan Ali, Aamir Yamin and Ruman Raees.
Talking to media on Tuesday after a short training camp held at Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore for New Zealand series, Sarfraz Ahmed said that all players were motivated and optimistic to perform well in New Zealand. He hoped that the Pakistan’s battling will also perform up to the mark on New Zealand’s surfaces which primarily suit fast bowling.
Sarfraz Ahmed said that a well balanced team has been selected for New Zealand Tour; though recent injuries have caused a bit worry for them. He said that fast bowlers Junaid Khan and Usman Shinwari will be missed in New Zealand; however, decision will be taken as per the condition that whether to play with four bowlers or five.
