LAHORE, Pakistan: The Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif and the Saudi Ambassador in Pakistan Abdullah Marzuk Al-Zahrani have discussed various aspects of bilateral relations.
The discussion was held when the two dignitaries met in Lahore on Saturday morning.
During the meeting, they discussed matters of mutual interest and ways to boost bilateral relations.
They were of the view that the trade and economic relations between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia are being strengthened with the passage of time.
On the occasion, the Chief Minister said that Pakistan and Saudi Arabia have historical brotherly relations and Saudi Arabia has always supported Pakistan in every time of need.
The chief minister expressed sorrow over the martyrdom of pilgrims in the tragic Mina incident.
In his remarks, the Saudi ambassador praised Shahbaz Sharif efforts for the development and prosperity in the province.
