Fakhzar Zaman and Mir Hamza will be part of Pakistan Squad for second Test against Australia, starting from Tuesday (October 16, 2018) at Sheikh Zayed Cricket Stadium in Abu Dhabi.
It would be their first Test appearance for Pakistan. Though left-handed opening batsman Fakhar Zaman has been a regular feature in T20Is and One Day Internationals (ODIs); however, he hasn’t made his Test debut.
While the 26-year-old Mir Hamza hasn’t featured yet in any International game.
Fakhar Zaman will replace inform Imam Ul Haq whose finger fractured while fielding in first Test at Dubai. Imam Ul Haq scored 76 runs in first innings of first Test and 48 runs in second innings. Following his injury, he was ruled out from the second Test match against Australia.

Likewise, Mir Hamza will replace Wahab Riaz who made a comeback in the national team but failed to impress anyone. He conceded 81 runs in 27 overs in the first Test but remained wicketless.
Besides the inclusion of Fakhar Zaman and Mir Hamza, the rest of squad would remain the same which was in the first Test.

Pakistan Squad for second Test against Australia include: Fakhar Zaman, Mohammad Hafeez, Azhar Ali, Babar Azam, Asad Shafiq, Haris Sohail, Bilal Asif, Mohammad Abbas Yasir Shah and Mir Hamza. Shadab Khan will be the 12th man.
The first Test match between Pakistan and Australia at Dubai International Cricket Stadium ended in draw.
