KARACHI, Pakistan: The upcoming One-Day International (ODI) and a Test March between Pakistan and Bangladesh at National Stadium in Karachi have been postponed amid fears of the spread of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) Pandemic.

The decision to this regard was taken by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) and the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB).

Both the Boards will now work together to identify a future opportunity to complete the ICC World Test Championship commitment.

The first Test of the two-match Test Series between Pakistan and Bangladesh was played at Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium from February 7-10, 2020 which Pakistan won by an innings and 44 runs.

Now the Sole ODI between Pakistan and Bangladesh had to take place at National Stadium in Karachi on April 1 followed by the Second Test from April 5 to 9 at the same venue. However as per the joint decision, both the Matches have now been postponed as a precautionary measure to halt the spread of deadly Coronavirus.

Meanwhile, the PCB has also indefinitely postponed the Pakistan Cup one-day tournament, which was scheduled to start from March 25.

Prior to the Pindi Test, Pakistan and Bangladesh played a three-match T20 Series at Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore. Pakistan won the first two games while the last T20 International was washed out due to rain.
