Pre-Matches Story!!!
Two Franchises will certainly bid adieu to HBL PSL 2018 on Friday, the last day of first round of Pakistan Super League third edition which would also determine which two teams – other than Islamabad United and Quetta Gladiators – secure their places in Play-Offs.
Lahore Qalandars have already been knocked out of the PSL 2018 while Multan Sultan’s fate also hangs in the balance, depending upon the results of today’s matches.
Likewise, Peshawar Zalmi and Karachi Kings will play today for their survivals as defeats will be tantamount to their return to Pakistan; especially it would be more lethal for Peshawar Zalmi because they can’t afford a loss at all while Karachi Kings would still be hoping – in case of a defeat – that better net run rate would save them from disqualification.

If Peshawar Zalmi lose against Lahore Qalandars – which now would play just for their glory as even now a win wouldn’t be helpful to them with regard to staying in the competition any longer – Multan Sultans and Karachi Kings would join Islamabad United and Quetta Gladiators in Play-Offs.
But if Peshawar Zalmi win, then Karachi Kings would be under more pressure against Islamabad United as a win would be inevitable for them or even if they don’t produce results in the their favour, they must throw the match away by a narrow margin.
Today’s both T20s – PSL 2018 29th and 30th Matches – would be played in Sharjah Cricket Stadium.
