SHARJAH: The second one-day international (ODI) of the five-match series between Pakistan and New Zealand will be played at the Sharjah Cricket Association Stadium on Friday.
The match is scheduled to begin at 4:00 pm Pakistan Standard Time (PST).
Pakistan is leading the five-match series 1-0 as it beat New Zealand by three wickets in the first ODI played at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium on Monday.
In the first ODI, New Zealand while bating first set a target of 247 runs in stipulated 50 overs for the loss of seven wickets.
In response, Pakistan chased the target in 49.3 overs for the loss of seven wickets.
The left-hand middle-order batsman Haris Sohail from Pakistan scored an unbeaten 85 runs while the hard-hitting all-rounder Shahid Afridi made 61 runs.
The third one-day international between the two teams will be played at Sharjah on December 14, fourth at Abu Dhabi on December 17 while fifth and the last ODI will be played at Abu Dhabi on December 19.
