The two lower positioned New Zealand and Bangladesh in group A of ICC Champions Trophy 2017 will take on each other in Cardiff on Friday in a bid to make their entry in the Semi Finals possible.
Both teams are possessing one point each in the Points Table after two of their respective matches were washed out by rain while England beat them in rest.

The former Champions New Zealand has a much better record than Bangladesh in ICC Champions Trophy. New Zealand’s winning percentage has been 60.00 in 21 ODIs with 12 wins and 8 loses.
Whereas Bangladesh has so far managed to register just one victory in ICC Champions Trophy, maintaining a 12.50 winning percentage in 8 matches.
With regard to Cardiff where they will meet today, New Zealand have won three out of five ODIs here while Bangladesh surprised the then World Champions Australia by securing a 5-wicket famous victory in its only ODI in Cardiff.
England has already qualified for the Semi Finals of ICC Champions Trophy 2017, and now Australia, New Zealand and Bangladesh are in the run.
If Australia beats England at Edgbaston tomorrow (Saturday), it will also go through the next round regardless of what the outcome of New Zealand-Bangladesh today’s match is.
Both Australian previous matches were abandoned due to rain, resultantly awarded one point for each game.
Earlier on Thursday, Sri Lanka gained two crucial points in group B after beating favorites India by 7 wickets in a record chase (322).
