Two more debutants from Pakistan will feature in the fourth ODI against Australia at Dubai International Cricket Stadium on Friday.
Shoaib Malik’s rib injury and high fever suffered by Imam Ul Haq paved the way for Saad Ali and Abid Ali to make their respective first appearance in One Day Internationals (ODIs). Earlier in the series, Shan Masood, Mohammad Abbas and Mohammad Hasnain also made their debuts in ODIs.
Since Shoaib Malik has been dealt an injury blow, Imad Wasim will lead Pakistan in today’s match.
Abid Ali to make his ODI debut today.
Trivia: He holds world record for the highest score – 209 not out for Islamabad – by a wicket-keeper batsman in List A history. #PakvAus

Pakistan have already lost the ongoing five-match bilateral series, and now can only hope of warding off whitewash against Australia. The Aussies have already inflicted upon Pakistan six consecutive series defeats. In addition, Australia’s winning streak against Pakistan in ODIs have also extended to six.
If Australia succeed to bag two further wins in the series, they would complete a whitewash against Pakistan in a five-match series for the second time. Prior to it, the Aussies thrashed Pakistan by 5-0 in January 2010 at a home series.
It is first time in 15 years that Australia have won 6 consecutive ODIs in Asia. They won three in a row in India and now have won three vs Pak in UAE. #PakvAus

So far beleaguered Pakistan have utterly failed to break the siege, causing a dejection among the fans. Neither any debutant prevailed upon his emergence nor seniors especially Mohammad Amir marked his resurgence.
However, Australia have certainly been resurrected and posed a series threat to their opponents in the forthcoming ICC World Cup 2019 in England.
