SYDNEY, Australia: Pakistan will take on England in their second and last ICC Cricket World Cup warm-up match at the Sydney Cricket Ground on Wednesday.

The 50-over game is scheduled to begin at 08:30 am Pakistan Standard Time (PST).

Earlier in their first warm-up match played at Blacktown Olympic Park Oval, Sydney on February 9, Pakistan beat Bangladesh by three wickets.

Batting first, Bangladesh scored 246 runs before they were all out in 49.5 overs. The 7-foot-1-inch left-arm fast bowler Muhammad Irfan took five wickets.

In response, Pakistan achieved the target in 48.1 overs for the loss of seven wickets. The middle order batsman Sohaib Maqsood scored 93 runs off 90 balls with two massive sixes and nine fours.

The 11th edition of the ICC Cricket World Cup 2015 is jointly being held in Australia and New Zealand from February 14 to March 29.

Pakistan is placed in group B along with India, South Africa, West Indies, Zimbabwe, Ireland and United Arab Emirates.

The national team will start its World Cup campaign with a highly charged match against arch-rivals and defending champions India in Adelaide on February 15.
