LAHORE: The Acting Chairman of Pakistan Cricket Board‚ Najam Sethi‚ has accepted the resignation of Iqbal Qasim‚ Chairman National Selection Committee.
Najam Sethi lauded his services to the sport and nation on and off the ground.
The PCB will consider the formation of a new selection committee and its chairman at an appropriate time.
Iqbal Qasim said that he has resigned on expiry of his contract tenure.
He said that the Pakistan Cricket Board had asked him to stay till the selection of squad for the West Indies tour.
