HOUSTON: Dr. Muhammad Ali Shah, advisor to Sindh Chief Minister on Sports, has died on Monday during the treatment in a US hospital for blood cancer, he was 67, Dispatch News Desk (DND) reported on Monday.
Dr. Shah suffered a heart attack on Monday while going through a chemotherapy process in a Houston hospital, but he could not sustain it.
Born on 26 Oct, 1946 in Indian city of Bareli, Dr. Shah was conferred upon various awards including Pride of Performance, Tamgha-e-Imtiaz and Sitara-e-Imtiaz.
The Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) sources said the deceased will be laid to rest in Karachi. He was survived by a widow and two surgeon sons Dr. Imran Ali Shah and Dr. Junaid Ali Shah.
