NAPIER: The 25th match of the ongoing ICC Cricket World 2015 will be played between Pakistan and United Arab Emirates at the Mclean Park in Napier on Wednesday.
The match is scheduled to start at 6:00 am as per Pakistan Standard Time (PST).
Both teams are part of the Pool B and have played three matches each so far. But they are still struggling to gain momentum, especially Pakistan which are believed to have some extremely talented players in their squad but still have got only 2 points in Pool B points table.
“We know most of their players. They’ve been playing with our players even in Dubai. Most of our players played the league games and their domestic games there. I think they know our players very well and we know them very well,” Pakistan capital Misbah-ul-Haq said while talking about UAE whose nine members of 15-man squad are of Pakistani origin.
After the match with UAE, Pakistan will play their last two group matches against South Africa and Ireland on March 7 and March 15 respectively.
