PESHAWAR: Security forces clashed with militants in northwest Pakistan’s Kurram tribal region that left two security personnel killed and 18 wounded, while following the clash, jet fighters bombed militant positions, killing 15 insurgents, security sources said.
On the other hand, militants attacked a security check post in the Bajaur tribal region wounding two Levies men.
The power lines were affected in the exchange of fire between the two sides, suspending electricity supply in the region.
Subsequently, security forces started a search operation in the area to apprehend the militants.
