LAHORE, Pakistan: The UAE Rugby Team has reached Pakistan to participate in the Asia Rugby Championship Division 1 to be held in Lahore from July 04 to 08, 2023.
Hosted by the Pakistan Rugby Union, Pakistan and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) Rugby teams will lock horn against each other in the competition.
The winner will advance to the Asia Rugby Championship which is scheduled for next year.
Hong Kong, China, South Korea, and Malaysia have already qualified for the Asian event.
In a statement on Twitter, Pakistan’s Ambassador to the UAE Faisal Niaz Tirmizi said that “Another thread of a beautiful bond that binds the two nations and peoples together through history.”
