The 13th Edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL), one of the World’s biggest Twenty20 Cricket Leagues, will be held from March 29 to May 24, 2020.
Organized by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), the IPL 2020 will be sponsored by the Chinese Technology Company VIVO and have a total of 60 T20 Matches at 10 different venues across India.
The League Stage of the VIVO IPL 2020 will conclude on May 17 followed by the Playoffs. The Final Match will take place on May 24 at Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai.

So far Mumbai Indians has been the most successful team in the Indian Premier League (IPL) as it won the title four times including the last one in 2019. The Chennai Super Kings became Champions three times, Kolkata Knight Riders twice, and Rajasthan Royals, Sunrisers Hyderabad & Deccan Charges (which was dissolved in 2012) sealed the title once each.
In terms of individual performances, India’s Virat Kohli remains the highest scorer with 5,412 runs whereas the West Indian Chris Gayle has hit the most number of sixes (326) in IPL and also remains the highest scorer (175) in a T20 game.
In bowling, the Sri Lankan Lasith Malinga has taken 170 wickets, the most among all while the West Indian Alzarri Joseph has the best bowling figures with 6 for 12.
