The Defending Champions West Indies will face South Africa in their inaugural match of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2021 at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium on Tuesday.
The match will begin at 03:00 pm as Pakistan Standard Time (PST).

It would be their 16th bilateral clash in T20 Internationals. In previous games, South Africa retained the dominance by winning 9 T20s whereas West Indies won 6 matches.
Currently, South Africa is at the 5th spot in ICC T20 Ranking and West Indies have slipped down to the 9th position.
Prior to the beginning of the main event, South Africa won both of their warm-up matches against Afghanistan and Pakistan; however, West Indies lost to both the South Asian teams in their matches.

Last night, Afghanistan thrashed Scotland at Sharjah Cricket Stadium by 130 runs.
Batting first, Afghanistan scored 190 for 4 in 20 overs with the contribution of all of their top-order batsman. The opening pair Hazratullah Zazai and Mohammad Shahzad scored 44 and 22 runs respectively while the following batsmen Rahmanullah Gurbaz and Najibullah Zadran also smashed 46 and 59 runs.
In response, the whole Scotland team was bowled out for 60 runs in 10.2 overs.
From Afghanistan, Mujeeb Ur Rehman picked up a 5-wicket haul by conceding 20 runs while Rashid Khan also took 4 wickets for 9 runs.
