According to the  The Director of General Meteorological Department there is a good possibility for Eid-ul-Fitr’s moon being sighted on August 8 (Thursday), the 29th day of the holy month of Ramazan. And chances are very much there that Eid-ul-Fitr 2013 will be celebrated in Friday August 9th. After many years Eid Would be celebrated on Friday, last time it was Gen Zia’s era when Eid ul Fitr was Held on Friday
