ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The Pakistan-Bangladesh series is scheduled to begin from April 17 with the first One Day International (ODI) between the two teams at the Shere Bangla National Stadium in Mirpur.

During the Bangladesh tour, Pakistan team will play three ODIs, two Tests and one T20.

The three ODI matches and only T20 between Pakistan and Bangladesh will be played on April 17, 19, 22 and 24 respectively at the Shere Bangla National Stadium in Mirpur.

The first test between the two teams will be played at the Sheikh Abu Naser Stadium in Khulna from April 29 to May 2 while the second test will be played at the Shere Bangla National Stadium from May 6 to May 10.

Prior to the official start of the series, the touring Pakistan will also play a one-day practice match against Bangladesh Cricket Board XI on April 15 at the Khan Saheb Osman Ali Stadium in Fatullah.

Talking to media in Lahore, Pakistan ODI Cricket Team Captain Azhar Ali said that the team would perform its best during the upcoming series with Bangladesh.

Azhar Ali said that he had full confidence in the capabilities of the players. He said that he accepted the captaincy of the team as a challenge, and would come up to the expectations of the nation.
