SOCHI: Tobias Wendl and Tobias Arlt of Germany won gold medal in the men’s double luge on Wednesday at the Sochi Winter Games.
The German duo, who was ahead after the first try, clocked the total time of 1:38.933 minutes at the Sanki Sliding Center. Austrian brothers Andreas and Wolfgang Linger had to settle for silver with a result of 1:40.019 after two runs.
The time of 1:39.790 allowed Andris Sics and Juris Sics, also brothers, to claim the bronze medal for Latvia.
