LONDON: Following the specific threat to Westerners in the Somaliland region of Somalia, United Kingdom has asked its citizens to evacuate the area immediately, UK diplomats said on Sunday.
According to the British Foreign Office, “kidnapping for financial or political gain, motivated by criminality or terrorism” is the main threat that prompted UK to react accordingly.
